Bob is a water and natural resources consultant with over 25 years of experience. His interest in water, water quality and groundwater led him to Seattle in 1991 to start his consulting career as a Hydrogeologist. He is currently a Registered Geologist (RG) and Certified Water Rights Examiner (CWRE) in Oregon, and is a Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington. A confirmed Syracuse University sports fan, Bob bleeds orange (i.e. Syracuse Orangemen) during the college football, basketball, and lacrosse seasons.
Ian godwin, RG, CWRE project hydrogeologist
Ian earned a B.S. in Geology from Virginia Tech before working as a field geologist on major geotechnical projects in Washington, DC. Ian completed a M.S. in Environmental Science at Arkansas State University while working for the USDA and studying managed aquifer recharge for groundwater supply management in the Arkansas Delta. Ian is an avid birder who has seen more than 218 species in Oregon, and 807 species world-wide (and counting).
Julian Cohen, GIT Staff Geologist
Julian completed his B.S. in Geology at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Geology at Portland State University focused on stable isotope paleoaltimetry using stable hydrogen isotopes entrapped in volcanic glass. He also taught field mapping at the Indiana University Geologic Field Station during the summer. Julian enjoys staying active with biking, running, skiing, and soccer. He might also admit, if pressed, to being a hardcore gamer and aficionado of woodworking.
